Tammy,
I recently attempted to message you through Facebook. I know that one of your sons is becoming a runner like yourself. And after a decAde or more of feeding my face rather than my soul….I am repenting and living more of my dreams for my life. One of those dreams is to have my children live a healthy and active life WITH their parents right along side them NOT just cheering from the sidelines with Doritos in my hands. To that ends, how and at what age did your son start running with you?
I recently took my 5.5 yr old twins running….they ran 1.4 miles. The boy,Pryce, complained and kept stopping;but he finished. Marley ran ahead of my pace, never once stopped and seemed to enjoy every moment. Now I have the mother’s dillema of: am I pushing Pryce to run when he doesn’t….am I teaching him to be a quitter if I don’t bring him next time…..it 5.5 too early?????
I remember once back in Chicago, you asked me advice about your dating relationship with Andy….I remember thinking how incredibly humble this young woman is to ask me….doesn’t she I’m still dripping wet from my own baptism. I have always tried to imitate that and aquire that heat.
By the way love your site and looking forward to trying recipes. Due to my son, Declan’s autism & Celiac I have become more aware of what we eat, where it comes from, and how it is processed.
Look forward to hearing back from you.
Rhonda (Roberson) Whitney
Such a truly good discussion you all have happening. I like the mix of great and correct details together with a few intellectual thoughts. It really is great to be able to finally come across superb articles where I think I could believe in the text in addition to respect the people that publish it. With all the internet waste nowadays I usually value finding some real voices on the internet. Thank you for posting and continue the excellent work, please!!
